What is avocado oil?

Derived from pressed avocado fruit and then further refined, avocado oil isn’t obtained from the pit, but the pulp that surrounds it. It yields a clear, light yellow-green oil that has a mild nutty scent.

How can avocado oil benefit the scalp?

With a combination of fatty acids including oleic, palmitic, and palmitoleic acid, avocado oil is somewhat similar to the sebum our bodies produce naturally. Nourishing for the skin, it leaves a protective layer without clogging pores. It’s also an effective emollient which softens skin and supports moisture.
