Eyebrows & Beards Our Hair Gain Extract is intended for use on the scalp only. Eyelashes We do not advise using Hair Gain Extract it on the eyelashes as it may irritate the delicate eye area.

If your scalp becomes damp or wet during exercise, you should wait a minimum of two hours before applying the Hair Gain Extract. However, if you undertake light exercise and your scalp does not feel damp, you may apply your Hair Gain Extract 30 minutes after exercising.

Allergic reactions, such as itchiness or a burning sensation, while using Hair Gain Extract are very rare. If you experience these symptoms, it may indicate an underlying scalp condition that needs to be addressed. The scalp differs from the other areas of the skin in several ways. Firstly, the scalp has a lower barrier function, making it prone to skin problems as it does not have the same protection from unwelcome environmental influences. The scalp also has more and larger hair follicles and more sebaceous glands than other areas of the skin. This means that it is important to maintain a proper hair care routine, which includes washing daily or every other day to avoid sebum (oil) build-up and scalp and/or hair follicle irritation/inflammation which, if left untreated, can lead to hair thinning. It is not common but, in some cases increased shedding may occur when starting the Hair Gain Extract. This is not true hair loss, but rather a natural transition as weaker, finer hairs are shed and replaced with healthier, thicker hair. Shedding can also be explained by the natural hair growth cycle. The natural shedding stage is the final phase of this cycle, during which the hair follicle becomes inactive and releases the hair. At any given time, approximately 5 percent of hairs are in this stage, making daily shedding completely normal. Most people lose between 50 and 150 hairs per day. That said, increased shedding can also be influenced by external factors such as stress, illness, surgery, certain medications, weight loss, or other physical or emotional stressors. Additionally, styling habits, head gear, braids, extensions or tight hairstyles, as well as harsh hair products may contribute to thinning over time. Yes, you can color or highlight your hair while using Hair Gain Extract. However, we recommend skipping your Hair Gain Extract application on the same day as your color or highlight service. You may resume your regular Hair Gain Extract routine the following day.

You are welcome to wear hair extensions while using the Hair Gain Extract. However, we recommend consulting with both your Hair Specialist and stylist to ensure proper care of your scalp and hair, as well as the appropriate application of the Hair Gain Extract while wearing your extensions. For optimal scalp and hair health, we suggest limiting the use of extensions for a short period after starting the Hair Gain Extract, as extensions and certain hairstyles can significantly contribute to hair thinning and even lead to permanent hair loss. Additionally, we advise minimizing the use of heat styling and chemical treatments.

We do not recommend keratin treatments as they coat the hair, often with problematic chemicals which prevent real and often vital hydration from being absorbed by your hair strands.
